Through GlobalEats, we hope to revolutionize education by integrating culinary exploration into curricula, fostering cultural understanding, promoting a healthy lifestyle and practical life skills. We envision teenagers becoming culturally competent and globally aware individuals, equipped to navigate a diverse world with respect and curiosity.

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

We created GlobalEats to address two pressing global challenges: promoting healthy eating and fostering cross-cultural understanding. We believe that food is not only a source of nourishment but also a powerful tool for building bridges between communities. By sharing healthy recipes from diverse cultures, we aim to inspire people to explore new cuisines while also promoting good health.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

GlobalEats posts either a video of a teenager preparing a healthy traditional dish/meal/treat form their country or culture or if they do not feel comfortable with that GlobalEats simply shares a picture of the healthy traditional dish/meal/treat along with a detailed step-by-step guide on how to prepare it.

How has it been spreading?

We utilize social media platforms to share our recipes, engage with our community, and spread awareness about our mission.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

Teenagers can contribute by sending GlobalEats a video of themselves preparing a healthy dish from their culture or sharing a picture of it along with a detailed step-by-step guide on how to prepare it.
