I have a foundation that makes dreams come true for students with special needs. Through the years, I saw that their loves were affected by disasters such as food security, typhoons, wildfire and floods. I decided to use the skills I was learning at school to find a solution that would help combat these problems that were affecting the in a worldwide scale.
My Sustainable Food Production is composed of modern food production such as aquaponics, hydroponics, microgreens, sprouting and fungi culture integrated with technology that turns them sustainable such as solar panels and generators, cameras for monitoring, sensors for automation. Through the use of modern food production I avoid any type of chemical runoffs because the water going in a cycle. This characteristic also allows me to use only about 10% of the water required on a normal agriculture. Due to its scalability, it can produce food in a much smaller space, allowing it to be done in the cities as well as rural areas, reducing the need for transportation and, consequently, reducing the carbon dioxide emissions. It also use resources that it collects itself such as water collected from condensation. It also takes advantage of monitoring and automation with the use of cameras, automatic feeder, water level sensors and other technologies that minimizes the overall production cost.
I spread the information in3 ways:
1) Replication of the prototypes in locations such as the Lakota Indian Reservation in Allen, SD, USA and the Tagaytay City Special Education Center, a school or students with special needs in the Philippines and the Guarani Indian Reservation in Southern Brazil.
2) Classes given online through Zoom, classes given in person in local farms and events, classes given to target groups over the Zoom and presentations provided to international online conferences such as the Global Innovation Field Trip
3) Electronically through the use of the Sustainable Food Production App or the cellphones and through electronic games on Scratch that enables me to catch the interest of the young generation.
If you want to try the Sustainable Food Production you simply need to get details about it in my foundation homepage at:

and contact me as indicated in the homepage. I have th structure ready as you can see in that page.
Note that I have built the solution to be modular and independent rom each other so, you can start small and invest over time to come
