About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

There are two reasons that I created this innovation. Firstly, is to develop the possibility of change about Waste Management Solutions in Cambodia. Secondly, is to increase the amount of change agent in Cambodia. These two reasons had inspire, develop and made this innovation grows.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

During practice for my innovation, it had a little problems contacting to government schools. During my school summer break, others government schools had a semester exam, and they did not have a time for my presentation. But a few weeks later, I were fine and ready to attend their school. Before going to government school, my team and I had went to two organizations which were called River-Ocean organization and CAMPET organization. We got a lot of education about waste, then we had a big sharation in our school. We got a lot of feedback to fix before spreading it more to others place. After all the research, experience, trips, finally we started spreading it to government schools in Kampong Spue province, Cambodia. We hope that we will going on the trip to others province about this innovation.

How has it been spreading?

This innovation has been spreading for a month. However, before that we had a 7weeks exploration that had spread to everyone in our school. While this innovation is delivered as a presentation to young people. We hope that this small innovation into a big one and inspire young people in Cambodia becoming change agent.
