Sign Up Now For A Thematic Talk On Inclusion With The HundrED Community

An idea born from our burgeoning community, Thematic Talks are online discussions led by our Ambassadors on selected themes aligned to our research goals. The talk for June explores the theme of Inclusion. Join us Friday, June 15th!

Following the success of our first ever thematic talk last month, we're delighted that the HundrED community is eager to get together online once again to share their knowledge, ideas and experiences – this time on the theme of inclusion in education.

Thematic Talks are online discussions led by our Ambassadors on selected themes aligned to our research goals. Through these conversations, we aim to provide a space where individuals passionate about education can connect and engage in discussions around the state of education globally, creating awareness, sharing ideas and learning from fresh perspectives.

Hosting this interactive discussion will be HundrED Ambassador Kirthi Jayakumar, an activist, artist, entrepreneur and writer from Chennai, India. Kirthi is the founder of The Red Elephant Foundation, a civilian peacebuilding initiative that works for gender equality through storytelling, advocacy, and digital interventions. She also works extensively with a variety of solutions that she has created for gender equality, ending gender-based violence and for peacebuilding. In all the work that she does, Kirthi is committed to diversity and inclusion and is driven by the key values of intersectionality, peace, compassion, and empathy. We are very excited to have her on board!

We're excited to announce that Nataliia Kiseleva, the Founder of Equal Opportunities in Russia and a finalist for this year's Global Teacher Prize, will also be joining the discussion! Equal Opportunities, a series of educational competitions aimed at balancing opportunity so that every school and every student can create education change, was selected as one of the HundrED Global Innovations this year.

Additionally, we will be joined by John Galloway, a HundrED Academy Member, who is a specialist in the use of technology to improve access to the curriculum for children with special needs and disabilities. He has also written widely, mainly about this field.

You are warmly invited to join us for an interactive conversation on inclusion and innovation in education! The conversation will take place via Zoom on Friday, June 15th 12:00 (UTC). All are welcome to take part, simply sign up here!
