About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

We collaborated with Disney to launch this initiative after recognizing the significant growth of Latin America's audiovisual industry & the corresponding demand for technical skills. Yet, individuals from underrepresented groups often find these opportunities inaccessible. Our program aims to bridge this gap by providing targeted training that meets the industry's needs and enhances accessibility

What does your innovation look like in practice?

We designed a learning path focused on knowledge of audiovisual production, including concepts of Audiovisual Language, genres, and formats, as well as legal and human resources issues in the industry. This includes in-person visits to production companies and a module dedicated to various tools for creating professional profiles in the audiovisual sector. The innovation has the

Core Cycle in Audiovisual Production consisting of 5 units: Centered on emerging and current aesthetics, with notions of Audiovisual Language, as well as genres and formats. The curriculum also includes legal issues and human resources, complemented by a glossary specific to the discipline of production.
Employability in 1 unit: to reinforce and provide tools related to the creation of a professional profile and job search in the audiovisual industry.
Experiential learning in productions: Throughout the training, participation includes various visits and experiences in productions at their different stages.
