Young people needs forums to make their voices be heard. We need to collaborate when we try to solve community, societal and planetary challenges. We wanted to build bridges between local and global youth, so young people can connect with like-minded across the globe, and find support in a quest to make the world a more peaceful and sustainable place.
Our program is science based, and we take inspirations from positive psychology, applied neuroscience, the IB, recent research within the areas of the future of learning and the future of work. We are in constant dialogue with young people as we work at an international school.
We have had participants from some very progressive schools and institutes: the Netherlands ( Agora) , Germany ( Hammerbrooklyn Youth Innovation Centre), India ( Vega Schools), School of Humanity, International School of Helsingborg ( Sweden), Denmark (Copenhagen International School), Shaftesbury School ( via Alex More), Coconut Thinking/Thailand ( via Benjamin Freud) . We collaborated with Learnlife for our first hackathon, and got sponsorship from our city's Visionsfund for innovation in education. We are asked to speak about it in podcasts, education forums.
