I came up with the idea after playing other review games in the classroom and getting bored of the same kids always winning and the same boring scoring systems. I thought that we could do so much more with technology in the classroom, and Blooket was my answer to how engaging review games really should be.
The way it works is that a teacher/host picks a question set and a unique game mode. Then, we generate a code that players can use to join the game on their own devices. After the game starts, players will answer questions to help them win. That’s where the fun starts, because we offer a variety of games to keep students engaged and excited!
We take things one step at a time and are just really focused on improving our product on all fronts. I guess in a few years we'd like to have continued our reach into more schools and have a lot more modes and other ways of engaging students.
