We created BuzzGage to help schools understand the parts of learning that academic data cannot capture. Schools invest heavily in wellbeing, engagement, and social-emotional learning, yet most rely on intuition rather than measurable evidence. This creates gaps in support, especially for students whose needs may be overlooked.
BuzzGage was developed to close this gap. By grounding our work in global frameworks such as CASEL, IB, OECD Learning Compass, and UNESCO GCED, we provide schools with a clear, research-aligned way to measure what drives students’ sense of belonging, motivation, and whole-child development. Our aim is to help schools build more inclusive, responsive learning environments where every student can thrive.
In practice, BuzzGage works as a non-academic intelligence layer for schools. Students complete short, anonymous check-ins that measure engagement, belonging, wellbeing, social-emotional skills, and other non-academic competencies aligned with global frameworks.
The platform transforms these responses into clear, leadership-ready insights that highlight strengths, gaps, and emerging patterns across grades and student groups. Instead of academic metrics, BuzzGage focuses entirely on the student experience and the drivers that influence motivation, participation, and development.
School leaders then use these insights to shape school-wide strategies, refine programmes, prioritise resources, and ensure that whole-child development efforts are grounded in real evidence rather than assumptions. BuzzGage becomes a strategic compass that helps schools align their initiatives with what students actually need.
BuzzGage has been growing through trusted relationships with schools and educators who see the value of measuring what truly shapes the student experience. After piloting the platform, leadership teams often introduce it to their wider networks, creating strong word-of-mouth momentum.
At the same time, our presence at international education events like WISE and IB gatherings has helped us connect with schools and organisations seeking evidence-based tools to strengthen whole-child development. These conversations have led to new pilots, collaborations, and interest from schools across different regions.
