"CharityQue" is an android google playstore EdTech AI app made on Flutter. It's a single digital platform for privileged donors to donate new or their used school supplies, books and educational accessories directly to the underprivileged individual recipients, organization or schools through supply / need chain by direct communication and networking via chat. Recycling good condition used school items by donating, reduces landfills as well as highlighting the importance of using eco-stationary at educational institutes and offices. The app not only serves as donating and requesting resources hub but also has salient features of online mutual learning through direct chat between junior and senior students along with volunteer teachers. The app would have e-library and lesson tutorials for needy students which would be uploaded by priviledged students voluntarily.
Project is aligned with SDGs 17 goals and with all 3 components of ESG. The project effects as environmental management system by reducing landfills of good conditioned school bags, study materials, uniform, shoes, school supplies being recycled more and more. Also motivate people to participate in donation drives to donate, buy and use eco-stationary and go green so that 5 Rs concept would be brought to highlight the importance of sustainable and eco-friendly stationary usage. The NGOs organizations would also make networks with other non-profit organizations and work together for 5 Rs on community level.
The app has a function of having list of available donations and list of required donations. Registered users of both groups can post pictures with text description about item donating and item needed which would go to app database and with the help of AI, would be moved to their respective folders of school supply, books, school fee, scholarship, shoes, bags, lunch boxes, water bottles, technology related components or daily routine stuff etc. Thus easy to search for users of their respective category.
The AI within the donation app can analyze data related to educational needs (aligned with SDG 4 targets) and connect them with potential donors who are interested in specific SDGs or areas of impact. This integrated approach ensures that donations are directed effectively and contribute to multiple interconnected SDGs simultaneously. For example, a donation for tablets in a low-income school not only addresses SDG 4 but also indirectly contributes to reducing poverty (SDG 1) by improving future economic prospects for students.
In summary, an EdTech donation AI app, with its ability to target educational needs, enhance learning, and foster partnerships, can be a valuable tool in advancing the integrated approach of the UN's 17 SDGs, particularly by focusing on quality education as a catalyst for broader development.
