We created this innovation because we saw a recurring challenge in the education sector: passionate teachers were burning out, stuck in routine tasks, and facing limited career growth. Many educators entered the field with a love for teaching but eventually felt undervalued, overworked, and unsure of how to progress professionally or financially.
At the same time, education centers—especially small to mid-sized ones—struggled to retain talented staff and build strong leadership pipelines. We realized that to truly transform education, we needed to empower teachers not just as employees, but as edupreneurs—professionals with leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurial skills who could drive change from within.
This innovation was designed to reignite teachers’ passion, provide them with practical and recognized skills through competency-based training, and open new doors—whether as team leaders, certified trainers, or even franchise owners. By giving educators a clear pathway to grow, lead, and create their own impact, we aim to build a sustainable, empowered, and future-ready education workforce.
In practice, our innovation transforms traditional educators into dynamic edupreneurs through competency-based, work-integrated training delivered via e-learning, mentoring, coaching, and hands-on workshops. Teachers gain entrepreneurial skills to design and implement personalized educational ventures, integrating child-centered methods, inclusive education, digital personalized learning, and literacy recovery programs. They receive practical experience at our literacy recovery centers, kindergartens, and after-school care facilities, developing creative and critical thinking skills to solve real-world educational challenges. In 2025, we partnered with the Ministry of Human Resources to certify these skills through the RPEL and Academy in Industry programmes. Educators are further supported to grow into leadership roles or become our franchisees, building their own sustainable education businesses. A yearly achievement award ceremony celebrates their progress and success. This holistic journey reignites passion, boosts job satisfaction, and empowers educators to lead meaningful change.
Our innovation has been spreading steadily through a combination of grassroots momentum and strategic partnerships. One of the strongest drivers is word of mouth, teachers who experience real transformation often share their stories with peers, leading others to join. As these educators advance into leadership or become franchisees, they bring the innovation to new communities and regions, creating a ripple effect.
The franchise expansion model plays a key role. Every new center led by a trained edupreneur becomes a living example of how the innovation works, inspiring others to follow a similar path. These centers also serve as training sites, making it easier to scale practical learning experiences.
Our partnership with the Ministry of Human Resources in 2025 through the RPEL and Academy in Industry programmes has added national recognition, increasing trust and visibility. It also attracted interest from other institutions and educators seeking formal certification pathways.
We further expanded our reach through National Training Week (NTW) and public webinars, which allow a wider audience—especially aspiring teachers and center managers—to experience our model. In addition, we use social media and digital learning platforms to offer micro-credential courses that are flexible and accessible, particularly for younger educators.
Together, these channels help us scale impact sustainably, one educator at a time.
In 2025, we strengthened our innovation by partnering with the Ministry of Human Resources to certify educators’ skills through the Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning (RPEL) and the Academy in Industry programmes. This partnership provided formal recognition for educators’ real-world experience, enhancing their professional credibility and career opportunities.
To expand impact, we introduced the Certificate of Competent (COC) and micro-credential, skill-based training tailored to practical needs in education. These micro-credentials focus on areas such as child-centered teaching, inclusive education, digital personalized learning, and literacy recovery. Training is delivered through a blended model of e-learning, mentoring, coaching, and hands-on practice at our literacy recovery centers, kindergartens, and after-school care facilities.
We also created a structured growth pathway where educators can advance into leadership roles or become our franchisees. With additional business mentoring and coaching, teachers transform into edupreneurs capable of managing their own centers. A yearly achievement award ceremony celebrates their progress, builds motivation, and fosters a strong professional community.
These enhancements make the innovation more scalable and inclusive—empowering educators to lead, innovate, and thrive as changemakers in Malaysia’s education landscape.
