About the innovation

Welcome to Imagineering in a Box!

Imagineering in a Boxis a partnership between Khan Academy, Pixar and Walt Disney Imagineering. The lessons are totally free for everyone and are designed to show how Imagineers create theme parks. The associated projects walk students through the process of designing their own theme park, attraction, and themed character. Along the way studentsbecome familiar with many of the more than 100 careers that it takes to bring a park to life.

What we do

We create content with innovative partners in order to provide students with a better understanding of where their passions, academic learning and real-world applications intersect.

Why we do it

We work to advance equity and access in education by working with industry partners to create free educational content centered around student projects that reflect authentic challenges faced in the real-world.
