Why did you create this innovation?

Jothoor Al-Arabiya addresses the challenges of foreign language dominance in schools in native Arabic-speaking regions, leading to loss of cultural heritage and connection among children. It redefines Arabic learning by integrating cultural context into a personalized self directed learning experience, fostering a deeper connection to heritage and language while achieving linguistic mastery.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

Jothoor Al-Arabiya offers a personalized approach to Arabic language learning,
- Tailoring content to each child's pace, interests, and learning style.
- Caters to native and non native speakers.
- Weekly delivered booklets and live reinforcement sessions.
- Delivered online, In-person and in after-hours school activities.
- Structured curriculum integrates all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Interactive learning includes multimedia resources and hands-on activities. Methodology features incremental progression, spaced repetition, and self-directed study.
- Parental involvement in the learning process through weekly reports and monthly feedback sessions
- Cultural integration enriches lessons with stories, songs, and traditions.
- Educator support includes PD training and resources for effective implementation.
-Continuous improvement involves a feedback loop and ongoing research and development to enhance learning outcomes.

How has it been spreading?

The program has been spreading mainly through word of mouth, referrals and school requests to be part of their after school programs, and minimally though social media.
To date the program has supported more than 1813+ unique users from 4 different countries with 82% average year over year growth. Currently the program is delivered through 5 physical location and growing with students achieving 85% level up success rate.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

1)go to the website "www.jothooralarabiya.com" and submit an application for your kid and our team will be in touch with you within 24 hours to schedule the diagnostic test
2)Participant takes the diagnostic test and receives a report of their skill mastery level
3)Gets assigned a level
4)Start attending the weekly sessions, receiving the booklets and getting periodic reports and feedback sessions

Implementation steps

Registration
Parents can register their kids by contacting us directly through registration form (https://forms.gle/UWPv5RGhRPUrXQGd9) or website (www.jothooralarabiya.com).
Receive call of confirmation and booking the diagnostic test
The parent will receive a call of information and select the date and time of the diagnostic test.
Diagnostic test:
Diagnostic test for the kids to test their Arabic language skills in reading, writing and speaking to identify their strengths and challenges.
Assign Level:
The results of the exam will be used to build a personalized learning plan for each participant and assign them to the corresponding level of Jothoor Alarabiya.
Recieve Report and personalized plan
Parent will receive a report that have a detailed results of student performance and the personalized plan.
Booklets:
For a language to be acquired and mastered it need to be practiced daily. In Jothoor Alarabiya Participants will receive booklets that will be solved daily.
Attending sessions:
Participants will have two sessions weekly with a teacher; it can be attended online or in-person.
Weekly reports
The program provides a weekly report for each participant with their progress throughout the week highlighting their achievements and challenges and some recommended activities for the parents to do with their children.
Feedback Sessions:
We usually have a feedback session with the parents to share their feedback and recommendations.
End of level Test
Participants will have an end of level test after each level to test their skills and progress.
