Since launching in 2025, Luna AI has grown to thousands of users and is being introduced through education and accessibility organizations in multiple countries.
Our initial growth has been particularly strong through partnerships and outreach within the blind and low-vision community. Luna has worked with organizations including Blind SA in South Africa and Vision-Aid in India, while also engaging accessibility organizations and education partners in the United States.
We are now expanding Luna into school districts, adult education programs, universities, and other organizations that can provide the platform to groups of students.
At the same time, individual students are discovering Luna for language learning, exam preparation, independent study, and everyday learning.
This combination of direct student adoption and organizational partnerships allows Luna to spread both individually and through education systems.
As Luna expanded internationally, we adapted the product to reduce barriers created by geography, language, and calling costs.
One of the most important developments has been adding WhatsApp access for international students. While a standard phone call works well in the U.S., international calling can be expensive or impractical in many markets. WhatsApp gives students another familiar, low-friction way to access Luna using technology they already use every day.
