OK Go Sandbox

OK Go Sandbox is an online resource for educators that uses OK Go's music videos as starting points for integrated guided STEAM challenges.

Developed as a collaboration between OK Go and the Playful Learning Lab at the University of St. Thomas (led by Dr. AnnMarie Thomas), OK Go Sandbox is all about bringing together different ideas, disciplines, and people to explore the playful side of learning. The OK Go Sandbox team is excited to be making new videos specifically designed to inspire classroom discussions and projects.

About the innovation

What is OK Go Sandbox

We believe that people learn best when they are having fun. OK Go Sandbox connects the whimsy and wonder of OK Go’s creative music videos to the underlying STEAM concepts that make them a reality. By using OK Go Sandbox, educators can create an engaging, exciting classroom experience for learners of all ages.

All education content can be found for free on the OK Go Sandbox website and is designed to be easily incorporated into classrooms by providing the Common Core State Standards met within each guide and striving to keep materials needed for the challenges affordable.
