About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

One of the key objectives of PADAGOS sa Mangyan is to increase access to education for Mangyan children. By providing their teachers with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively use technology in the classroom, we hope to create a more engaging and interactive learning environment that will inspire students to learn and succeed.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

PADAGOS sa Mangyan is an important step towards achieving our goal of improving access to education for Mangyan children. By providing Mangyan teachers with the tools and resources necessary to effectively use technology in the classroom, we hope to create a brighter future for the next generation of Mangyan children. The team developed separate courses in the native language for each of the three main Mangyan tribes: Bangon, Hanunuo, and Buhid. These courses will be designed to help Mangyan teachers who speak these languages effectively use Google Workspace in the classroom. The courses will be taught using a combination of text, audio, and video, and will be accessible to Mangyan teachers who are not proficient in English.

How has it been spreading?

Promotion and marketing of the courses to potential students and schools. Offering incentives for enrollment and course completion.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

The Project is only available to the IP community in Oriental mindoro
