What we do?


Teach Your Talent is the initiative where young adults called Change Leaders teach their talent to children with limited access to quality education. Through this program, children are introduced to different skills and hobbies. The curriculum is designed in such a way that students are introduced to:

Technical Skills of the Talent:

Children learn one or more extra curricular activity (sports and arts) and gather technical skills for it. Children build hobbies and quite often identify their hidden abilities and talents. Focusing on these abilities is essential to the program for the children to ensure maximum impact.

Life Skills

The curriculum imbibes decision making, leadership, ambition, purpose, communication, and shape their life goals as the program progress and mould children's life for good.

Socio Emotional Skills

The curriculum has been built to ensure that along with technical skills, psycho-social and socio-emotional learning (for eg. empathy, positive relationships, emotional expressions, etc.) is enabled and children are able to acquire these skills which become a part of them. The talents (for eg. arts, dance, football, etc.) become the basis to introduce them to their social, emotional and psychological side building on to their character qualities.

Academics through Talents

The curriculum attempts to inculcate academics in talent sessions, break barrier of classroom and make learning more fun. Through music, children are taught spoken english,; through sports, children are taught science and social sciences; through theatre children are taught social sciences, etc.


Why we do it?

Drug Abuse

Drug consumption has become one of the biggest problems affecting millions of children and youth in the country. 1 of every 3 children in Delhi indulge in Substance Abuse. The primary reason identified is lack of family attention and intervention, no or minimum academic performance, no access to better substitute hobby.

Skill Development

Underprivileged children do not get any opportunity to learn new skills, develop hobbies, identify their talents and possibly build a career on it. Especially in the area of sports and arts, as a country, India has lagged behind not because of dearth of talent, but because of no exposure and access.

For these children, more importance is given to conventional books, livelihoods and extra curricular / passion are completely ignored especially due to less access to such opportunities given their background. There are various such groups of children hidden in different parts of our country.

Holistic Learning

The meaning of education has been misinterpreted and just reduced to rote learning especially in the Indian education system. Along with technical skills, physical ability, socio-emotional skills, value based skills, life skills need to become essential part of Education for the bottom of the Pyramid for the holistic development of the younger generation.
