The Children Climate Artist Project is a virtual or online place to share wonderful work that makes environmental compassion visible and returning the earth to her vibrancy by re greening the world. Our goal is to include children all around the world, community members and so everyone can find inspiration to connect ,plant and act compassionately towards our planet.
The artistic work can come in the form of poetry, short stories, visual art, music, weavings, or sculptures. We truly believe there is an artist within each child and therefore we are avoiding competition. However, each participating school get the opportunity to plant trees, tend an orchard, or receive trash cans, beekeeping education or growing a gardening.
This initiative has a goal to train children on tree planting, tree nursery creation, gardening and beekeeping while al creating space of learning to live together and play, and the creation of an environmental school clubs to cater for this activities . Our focused is building a generation of children to lead the fight against climate change , making climate change a priority, learning to live together peacefully.
Many schools and communities have copied and are implementing here. And our local broadcasting radio have broadcasted the initiative several times.
