About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

I created innovation in the purpose to bridge the gap in quality education and opportunities for young people in Chad. Seeing the potential of youth and the challenges they face inspired me to act. EduBridge empowers them with relevant skills, mentorship, and networks to drive positive change.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

My Innovation practice is first to feature vibrant classrooms with interactive learning setups and outdoor spaces for community engagement. Students participate in hands-on projects, mentorship sessions, and peer learning. Tech-enabled tools like tablets and digital libraries support personalized learning. The space is inclusive, fostering creativity and collaboration. Local languages and contexts are integrated into the curriculum, making learning relevant and impactful. Partnerships with local organizations provide real-world opportunities, bridging education and employment.

How has it been spreading?

This Innovation is spreading rapidly in Chad, thanks to strategic partnerships and innovative approaches. The initiative has secured significant funding, with the UAE partnering with Chad to secure $20.5 billion for its five-year National Development Plan, Chad Connection 2030. This plan focuses on infrastructure development, governance reform, social progress, and promoting industries.

Key Areas of Expansion:
- Digital Infrastructure: Chad plans to invest $1.5 billion in digital transformation by 2030, aiming to boost internet penetration from 13.2% to 30%.
- Education: Partnerships with organizations like the Global Partnership for Education and UNESCO are strengthening education systems, with a focus on teacher training and girls' education.
- Digital Learning Centers: Initiatives like the Iridimi Digital Learning Centre provide access to online education and vocational training for refugees and host communities.

These efforts are expected to drive economic growth, improve education, and enhance digital inclusion in Chad.

How have you modified or added to your innovation?

EduBridge has been evolving to address the unique challenges of Chad's education landscape. We've incorporated cutting-edge technologies like AI-powered personalized learning and adaptive assessments to enhance student engagement and outcomes. Our partnerships with organizations like Sanofi and Capgemini have enabled us to launch digital academies, focusing on skill development and vocational training.

Key Innovations:
