2019 HundrED Innovation Summit's First Line Of Speakers Announced

Take a look at just a few of the speakers who will be taking the stage at this year's HundrED Innovation Summit in Helsinki...

We’re gearing up for the HundrED Innovation Summit, set to take place in Helsinki, November 6th-8th. This invitation-only event brings together the world's most inspiring innovators in education. Across three days, education innovators will share their expertise and experience through keynotes, workshops, and masterclasses.

From a traveling high school to networks that ignite engaging, relevant and equitable learning practices, highlighting student voice and reigniting intrinsic motivation in teachers and education systems. This year’s Summit will explore the biggest, most innovative themes in education! 

Amongst the first speakers to be confirmed are Andreas Sleicher, Director for the Directorate of Education and Skills, OECDTeresa Lin, Chief Executive Officer, Sayling Wen Cultural & Educational Foundation, and Gregg Behr, Executive Director of The Grable Foundation and a co-chair of the Remake Learning council.

Education innovators from a range of countries and covering a whole host of themes will be taking to the stage. Amongst those confirmed so far are  Sharath Jeevan, Founder & CEO of STiR Education, Tiffany Smyly, Programme Director, at The Economist Foundation, James Steckart, Head of School at THINK GlobalMay Samali, Chief Operating Officer of New Ventures, High Resolves, Rob Houben, Manager at  Agora School, as well as Vishal Talreja, Co-founder of Dream a Dream.

To reiterate our focus on youth voice and leadership, we are thrilled to share that we would be joined by a few HundrED Youth Ambassadors and will also get to hear from young leaders like  Peyton Klein, Founder and Executive Director of Global Minds Initiative, an after-school program combating intolerance by fostering intercultural friendships and global understanding.
