Art and Well-being activities for families

Art activities that promote well-being for families

During these uncertain times, we believe that art can be used as a tool for social and emotional learning. The education department has developed a series of activities for families under lockdown that promote connection and resilience through art to express emotions and feelings.

About the innovation

Art and well-being activities for families

What we do?

Since lockdown was established in March in Argentina, the education department at Museo Moderno creates and designs a series of activities; from drawing and creating to playful dress up, to draw inspiration from works of art in the collection and in the museum's exhibits. We've partnered with local artists to create videos and illustrations to support our community as well.

Why we do it?

We strongly believe that art can contribute to the well being of our visitors and wanted to reach them through activities that promoted connection, built empathy and resilience, and helped them express their emotions and feelings in an inclusive way.
