We created GlucoBurn because blood sugar management is often expensive, painful, time-consuming, and difficult to sustain for people living with diabetes, pre-diabetes, or insulin resistance. Many people depend on invasive monitoring, bulky devices, or costly treatments that are hard to use consistently in daily life. We wanted to build a simpler, more accessible solution that helps people manage glucose in a practical way and supports healthier routines without needles or major lifestyle disruption.
GlucoBurn is a wearable device paired with an app. In practice, the user wears the device and uses the app to store, monitor, schedule, and consult with a doctor. The innovation targets the Soleus muscle and is designed to help reduce blood glucose spikes, improve metabolism, and support better daily blood sugar control. It can be applied first with diabetic, pre-diabetic, and high-risk users, especially people who want a non-invasive and portable option for daily glucose management. Impact can be measured through user adoption, glucose-related outcomes, consistency of use, and reported quality-of-life improvements.
lucoBurn has already gained early recognition through entrepreneurship and innovation platforms, including placing 2nd in Mu'tah University’s Entrepreneurship Award, reaching 171st place in Orange Social Venture Prize, joining Orange Business Accelerator 2025, and developing 19 prototypes by January 2026. These milestones show active development, testing, and growing interest in the innovation. Our next goal is to continue refining the product, strengthen validation, and expand from Jordan into broader regional markets.
We have continued improving the concept through repeated prototyping and product iteration. The innovation has evolved from an idea into a wearable-plus-app model with clearer user functions, stronger practical use cases, and a more complete support experience. We are also refining the product’s positioning for different user groups and expanding how it can be used in daily life.
Interested users or partners should contact the GlucoBurn team to discuss pilot use, collaboration, or testing. We can then guide them through onboarding, use instructions, and the most suitable implementation pathway for their context.
