About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

International Youth MUN addresses the inaccessibility of global affairs education. Specifically, we target young people from underrepresented/underserved communities. Traditional Model UN programs often come with high costs and geographical barriers.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

International Youth MUN operates through a digital platform that hosts free, high-quality Model UN conferences, training workshops. We run 2-3 virtual conferences each year, featuring expert speakers and diverse committees to ensure inclusivity.

How has it been spreading?

The innovation has grown organically through word of mouth, social media outreach, school partnerships and our delegate network. After our first conference surpassed expectations in participation, we received interest from students and educators across the globe.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

Visit our website or follow us on social media to stay updated on upcoming conferences and workshops. Anyone aged 13–19 can register for our free events—no prior MUN experience is needed.
