What we do?
It aims at engaging the children with stories over a call and to enable them to learn and grow by tapping into their curiosity and imagination. These stories are designed to make the children laugh, create awareness, as well as teach them something new every day. The target group are children with little or no access to internet or new media and the idea is to introduce a new fun learning tool to them. Here, an Integrated Voice Response (IVR) system is deployed which uses phone calls to connect and narrate stories. This initiative, especially crafted as an experience to bring cheer to the mundane days spent locked indoors is also getting great response from the young and old alike. Creative use of phone technology, content creation, planned collaboration and sustained community engagement are the keystones of this initiative.
This school bell rings Monday to Friday, sharp at 4 p.m.,as an important reminder of love, hope and also the little joys of finding a friend over a phone.It is for anyone who wants to embrace a call of cheer and play. With the powerful skill of listening, it allows children to visualize the plot and characters and opens up an arena to curate new and age-old stories. These stories are aimed at not only instilling curiosity and creating routine into their lives but also impart knowledge and moral values.

School ki Ghanti aims at democratizing education by empowering children through communication. We believe that technology interspersed with storytelling can bring about change. Interactive Voice Response (IVR) is an automated telephonic system technology that interacts with the callers, gathers the required information and routes the calls to the specified recipients. These phone calls carry stories for children or anyone who wants to listen to make their heart happy.
