The Summit Protocol: AI-Driven Cognitive Auditing

place Netherlands

AI-driven debate assessment platform aligned with IB standards to foster critical leadership skills.

Resolving systemic judging bias and inequitable access to diplomatic training. Our autonomous, data-driven AI provides cognitive audits for youth 13-18. Mapping speeches against IB criteria, we ensure objective feedback. The Socratic AI Mentor fosters critical thinking. Validated by CERN-indexed DOI 10.5281/zenodo.21516615, we democratize elite training, reducing global educational inequality.

Target group
I hope to ignite a global revolution in how we identify and cultivate future leaders. Through The Summit Protocol, I envision an education system where talent is no longer constrained by geography, socio-economic status, or the unconscious biases of human evaluators. My innovation aims to create a truly meritocratic environment for leadership development, offering every student, regardless of background, access to objective, high-quality feedback on their diplomatic skills. I want to see a world where digital tools empower students to achieve their full cognitive potential, fostering critical thinking, intellectual empathy, and the communication skills essential for navigating complex global challenges, thereby contributing to a more equitable and peaceful future for all (SDG 4 & 10).

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

I created The Summit Protocol to dismantle the systemic human bias and socio-economic inequality inherent in traditional diplomatic and debate training. Elite training (MUN, debating) is often inaccessible due to high costs and subjective human judging. I saw a need for an objective, scalable, and equitable solution. By utilizing an AI-driven cognitive audit engine aligned with IB MYP/DP criteria, I aim to democratize access to high-level diplomatic education, ensuring that talent—not financial background—is the primary determinant of a student’s success. This project is a response to the urgent need for ethical AI tools that foster critical thinking and global citizenship in the next generation.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

n practice, The Summit Protocol is an autonomous, web-based platform that acts as a 24/7 Socratic mentor. Students participate in diplomatic simulations, and our engine performs real-time cognitive auditing of their speeches. The system evaluates logical consistency, evidence synthesis, and rhetorical persuasion against rigorous IB standards. Crucially, it provides an interactive feedback loop: instead of static grades, students engage in a Socratic dialogue with the AI to challenge logical fallacies and enhance their argumentation. The platform generates a standardized PDF progress report, providing objective, data-driven verification of skill development. To ensure safety, we enforce a strict 'Zero-Storage' architecture, purging all data within 24 hours to fully comply with global privacy standards

How has it been spreading?

The Summit Protocol is currently in its deployment phase. We have established a robust institutional foundation, with our methodology scientifically validated and registered via a CERN-indexed DOI. The project is an active MIT Solv[ED] Candidate and is currently under formal institutional review by the IBO Research & Assessment Innovation Team. We are in the process of launching global pilot programs across diplomatic and debate networks, offering our technical infrastructure to institutional partners as a 'Global Research Node' to collect empirical data on youth cognitive development and diplomatic skill trends.

How have you modified or added to your innovation?

Initially conceived as a feedback tool, the Summit Protocol has evolved into a comprehensive cognitive auditing framework. A major addition is our Socratic AI Mentor, which replaces passive grading with an interactive dialogue to stimulate student reflection. We have also implemented a proprietary 'Zero-Storage' privacy architecture to ensure absolute data safety for minor users, purging data every 24 hours. Most recently, we formalized our scientific foundation by publishing our methodology in the CERN-indexed Zenodo repository (DOI) and aligning our AI-Judge engine precisely with IB MYP/DP Criteria, transforming the platform into a rigorous academic auditing tool.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

To experience the Summit Protocol, visit our platform at https://summitproject.co. Educational leaders, debate coaches, or MUN directors can register for a 'Teacher' account. This role allows you to create virtual debate rooms and invite students to participate. The entire process is automated and asynchronous: once a student records their speech, the system instantly generates an IB-aligned audit report and initiates the Socratic mentor session. Implementation steps

Registration and Role Assignment
Educators register on the Summit Project platform and select the 'Teacher' role. This grants them an autonomous dashboard to manage their classroom or debate club.
Creating a Debate Room
Within the dashboard, the teacher creates a new virtual debate room and invites students. The teacher sets the topic and selects the relevant IB-aligned assessment rubrics.
Live Debate and AI Auditing
Students participate in the debate. The Summit Protocol’s AI engine transcribes speeches in real-time and performs a cognitive audit, measuring performance against rigorous IB MYP/DP communication criteria.
Automated Reporting and Mentoring
The system automatically generates a PDF Progress Report for each student and initiates an interactive session with the Socratic AI Mentor to challenge logical fallacies and encourage critical reflection.
