We found out young people are sometimes reluctant to participate in civic engagement simply because they lack information which is prerequisite to action. So we concerned ourslves with sensitising students in such ways that they lead productive lives,make informed decisions and become active participants in making the world a better place.
We teach young people all of the goals using online tools and help young people develop insights into issues around their immediate community by teaching specific goals that are inherent in the society. These issues such as lack of access to clean water,hunger,poverty,climate change and gender equality among many others being inseparable from culture, needs to be truly understood.
Thus we create a platform where experts in specific goals can educate and help students learn about the world around them towards implementing the goals.
So far, 54 people have been reached. A number which is composed of students from different part of the country in different institutions. The pandemic hindered a physical activity,thus causing a limit in the number of beneficiaries. Moving forward, beneficiaries in their numbers will accrue.
Preaching the goals is a necessity if we truly want the globe better. It cannot be overemphasized, so it must be preached on the go, now! Get resources online; videos, pictures, audios, and tell others about it.
