About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

The social and economic challenges of my surrounding communities are the reasons behind the establishment of this Educational Innovation that i have formulated and began that i have alluded to previously.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

In practice our Innovation seeks to:

Reduce youth unemployment and social dependency.

Strengthen community resilience and food security.

Promote psychosocial healing and mental wellness.

Advance gender equality and human rights advocacy.

Foster sustainable development through skills transfer and collaboration.

How has it been spreading?

We've been struggling to implement core programs of our organization due to lack of funding, we've been however successful in implementing ASP: Afternoon School Program working alongside the local primary schools, hosting events, community dialogues that focuses on Civic Education and Charity Events such as Soup Kitchen.

How have you modified or added to your innovation?

The socioeconomic surveys has helped to improved our Innovation, in a sense we realized as we are busy with Tutoring Services, that we also need to add Basic Computer Training coupled with AI Courses, Psychosocial therapy for victims of rape- mental health anxiety and GBV. As we are dealing with young people who are unemployed we also realized that there is a shortage of skills- gap and as a result a need of Luminous Skills Training Courses is imperative in creating and changing the socioeconomic circumstances of community members at large. This in turn reduces crime and the need for drug addiction.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

First conduct proper research, as research always informs you on the challenges that a particular society or community is facing and as a result the Intel will inform you on the necessary skills programs required for that particular community and it's entire people at large.
