Early childhood education is often delivered through a fragmented ecosystem: a publisher supplies books, an app supplies digital activities, training may occur periodically, and assessment is frequently separate from daily classroom practice.
This creates a gap between curriculum intent and classroom execution, with educators expected to connect disconnected resources themselves.
Nalanda developed ENRICH to address this implementation gap.
The model brings together an integrated pedagogy, structured curriculum, digital and print content, educator capacity building, classroom resources, assessment, parent
engagement and technology-enabled support.
The purpose is not to replace the educator with technology. It is to enable the educator with a coherent learning system:
clear learning goals, practical lesson plans, engaging activities, accessible resources, professional development and evidence that can inform improvement.
ENRICH is designed for the realities of preschool education, including independent schools and school networks that need a practical, scalable way to translate quality ECCE principles into everyday practice. Its long-term objective is to make high-quality, developmentally appropriate early learning more consistent, engaging and scalable.
ENRICH connects the complete learning journey from pedagogy to classroom practice. The model begins with developmentally appropriate learning goals and an integrated curriculum aligned with the principles of NEP 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for the Foundational Stage. These goals are translated into structured lesson plans, digital books, printed books and worksheets, games, activities and multimedia resources.
Educators are then enabled through training and capacity building so they understand both what to use and why it matters.
The ENRICH Platform provides the technology layer for accessing content, teacher resources, learning experiences and assessment/analytics, while the model intentionally supports both digital and print implementation.
In the classroom, educators use play-based, activity-based and experiential approaches supported by ready-to-use resources. Assessment is connected to learning rather than treated as a separate event. Evidence and data can be used to identify gaps, support interventions and improve implementation. Parent engagement extends visibility of the learning journey beyond the classroom.
The result is a connected cycle: pedagogy, curriculum , educator capability, content , classroom implementation, assessment, parent engagement, improvement and scale. The innovation is the integration of these components around the educator and child, rather than any single digital feature.
ENRICH has evolved from Nalanda’s experience in preschool education, curriculum and educator enablement into an integrated pedagogy-and-technology ecosystem. Its scaling pathway is designed around adoption by preschools and school networks, supported by structured content, educator capacity building and a technology backbone.
For the final submission, Nalanda should populate this section with verified cumulative reach for the latest three years, the number of educators and schools using the solution, implementation locations, major partnerships, and evidence of classroom adoption. The story should demonstrate progression from pedagogy and content development to
platform-enabled implementation and ecosystem partnerships.
Over the next 2–3 years, the goal is to expand access to the ENRICH ecosystem, strengthen evidence of learning and educator outcomes, deepen multilingual and accessible delivery, and create a replicable model that can be adopted across
diverse preschool contexts.
ENRICH has progressively expanded from curriculum and content into a more integrated model combining pedagogy, educator capacity building, digital and print resources, platform capabilities, assessment and data.
This evolution reflects implementation learning: the objective is to ensure that technology, content and training reinforce one another rather than operate as separate products.
A preschool or school network can begin with a diagnostic of current curriculum, educator capability and classroom practice.
Nalanda then maps the ENRICH curriculum and resources to the context, enables educators through training, activates the digital and print learning resources, supports classroom implementation, and establishes assessment and feedback routines. The school can then use implementation evidence to improve practice and expand the model.
