We pivoted from a service model to a scalable technology product. Muyu began as Muyu LAB, a high-touch consulting model of intensive teacher coaching. It validated our methodology and built institutional credibility, but human-dependent consulting limited our ability to scale.
We then developed the Muyu App, a lightweight AI-driven SaaS that delivers continuous, automated feedback without intensive human intervention, enabling faster sales cycles, lower implementation friction and a much lower cost per teacher.
Since then, we redesigned the app with design mentorship from Apple and extended Muyu to online classes. New features identify and categorize the questions teachers ask, so they can become aware of and plan their questioning, and measure English vs. Spanish talk time for bilingual classrooms. Reports now offer richer, actionable insights for each educator, and we are launching a new dashboard for institutional leaders with expanded features.
Next, our 12-24 month roadmap includes a gamification system to sustain teacher engagement, high-precision pedagogical analysis models and expansion to new markets. The pivot from LAB to App was the foundation; continuous product innovation is what scales it globally.
